I worked at Richland Library for 23 years and also worked as substitute teacher at many schools after retirement. I had 13 years university level teaching experience before diving into the world of Ikebana art. Since after retiring from my librarian career in 2013, I have been tirelessly traveling across state line to train with Sogetsu Riji Instructor Ms. Hideko Rainey.

 

Writing, lecturing and flower arrangement have thus become the focal points of my retired life.

 

I have organized numerous seeding programs at Richland Library and Eastpoint Academy of Columbia, SC.
